I’m not white, I don’t dress white, I don’t act white. I’M NOT WHITE. These damn teachers keep trying to get me to talk white and learn white, but it ain’t gonna happen. Until they start doing shit my way, I’m not going to do anything. Instead, when they give me those stupid scantron tests that are going to “predict my future,” I’m just gonna keep coloring in the bubbles and sleeping. That’ll show them what they want to see anyway – that I’m just some stupid black kid, no different from the rest of ‘em. I’ll show them. I’m’a gonna make my own future, regardless of what that damn test says.
